How do I get to Banff?

The Gathering Summit is hosted at the iconic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta, Canada from October 23-25, 2024. For those flying in, the closest major airport is YYC Calgary International Airport. From there, it's a scenic 90-minute drive to Banff.

To simplify your travel, we offer attendees a 15% discount on the Banff Airporter's shuttle service. Book your ride with the promo code GATHERING2024 to enjoy the discount.

Alternatively, you can rent a vehicle at the Calgary airport, or opt for an Uber or other car service.

Once in Banff, you can easily get around using shuttle services or the Roam public bus system.

The Gathering Summit is held at the Fairmont Banff Springs, known as Canada's Castle in the Rockies. This luxury hotel, recently voted the #1 luxury hotel in the world, offers a stunning backdrop for our event.

VIP and Pinnacle pass holders - Booking a VIP ticket is the only way to guarantee a room at the Fairmont Banff Springs throughout the event. VIP access includes a reserved room as part of your package, ensuring you are at the heart of the summit activities.

All Access pass holders - If you hold an All Access pass and wish to stay at the Fairmont, please email thegatheringhotels@helmsbriscoe.com for a discounted rate. Availability is limited and rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Alternative accommodations - Banff offers a range of lodging options close to the conference venue. Here is a link to other recommended hotels in the area.

How do I choose the right pass for me?

At The Gathering Summit, we offer various pass tiers to cater to different preferences and needs. Here’s a breakdown to help you select the pass that best fits your experience goals:

Session pass - Ideal for those who want a taste of The Gathering. This pass grants access to the main sessions on Thursday and Friday. It's our most economical option but does not include lunch, excursions, or access to Wednesday’s Brands & Brews off-sites and masterclasses.

All Access pass - Experience everything The Gathering has to offer. This pass includes all sessions, our special Brands & Brews sessions on Wednesday, lunches on Thursday and Friday, and exclusive entry to the Tony Hsieh Gala and the inaugural Brand Hall of Fame Induction on Friday evening.

VIP pass - For those seeking a premium experience, the VIP pass includes all benefits of the All-Access Pass plus accommodation at The Fairmont, white-glove service, prime seating, VIP hosting, and first access to inner sanctums and exclusive dining experiences.

Pinnacle pass - Our most exclusive option, limited to only 20 guests, offers behind-the-scenes access, prime seating, a personal VIP host, private dining experiences, and meet-and-greets with speakers. This pass is designed for guests who desire the utmost in luxury and personal attention.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets for The Gathering Summit are non-refundable; however, they are transferable. If you need to change the name on your pass, we're here to help facilitate that adjustment.

Event credit - Understanding that plans can change, we offer the option to receive a credit for the full value of your ticket purchase. This credit is valid for one year and can be applied to any future Gathering experience, whether it's our annual summit or any other event we host. Please note that all event credits must be used within one year from the date they are issued.

How do I access my pass and agenda?

Upon registering for The Gathering, you will receive a confirmation email. Passes will be distributed 30 days prior to the event. Please check your email, including your spam folder, for this important information.

Agenda details - The detailed agenda for the event will be released 60 days prior to The Gathering. Since our schedule is subject to change, you can always find the most current information and a general outline of the three-day event on our agenda page.

Live event app - We use Swapcard for an enhanced on-site experience. This app will serve as your live agenda during the event, allowing you to set up a profile, connect with other attendees, and register for sessions and Night Gatherings. You can download Swapcard for iPhone from the App Store here or download it for Android from Google Play here.
