Tom Herbst joined The North Face as Vice President of Marketing in September 2016. He has nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, brand strategy and consumer insights – and creating cultural currency. At The North Face, Tom oversees all marketing and consumer engagement efforts, and is responsible for advancing the brand’s emotional storytelling goals and strategies. Prior to joining The North Face, Tom was with Diageo, where he served as the Global VP of Innovation and Design for Smirnoff, leading a team responsible for the development and launch of new products globally. Tom has a BA from Kenyon College where he majored in English, and he studied Italian language and literature in Florence Italy.
