As Chief Social Scientist, Sharon McIntyre contributes to the leadership team at Chaordix [kay-or-dix], a crowdsourcing technology and methodology pioneer in the brand, product and social innovation/co-creation space. Chaordix helps customers, employees and other stakeholders to participate in the brands they care about the most; clients include LEGO, Rust-oleum, IBM, HTC, Alberta Ballet, and Ford.
Sharon has shared her passion for marketing, branding and innovation with global corporations, start-up enterprises, public sector organizations, and students for 25+ years. She has held senior leadership positions and consulted in a variety of domains including open innovation, software, energy, telecommunications, housing, publishing, government, and the arts. This has included her roles as Senior Marketing Advisor at Schlumberger for their global software division; consultant to the Cameroon (West Africa) energy utility company, Eneo; and Assistant Professor at Mount Royal University’s Bissett School of Business where she catalyzed the development of a new Marketing degree program.
Sharon is a visiting lecturer at the Copenhagen Business School, an instructor with the University of Alberta Executive Education program, and is also a doctoral candidate at Royal Roads University, researching entrepreneurial innovation in Canada.
