Ryan Collis is the Senior Director of Marketing for Mountain Dew, where he leads all consumer engagement and commercial execution for the $7 Billion brand, which is the number one flavored carbonated soft drink in the U.S.
He has more than thirteen years of experience in consumer marketing, and eight years within PepsiCo. During his time at PepsiCo, he has spanned two borders working on Mountain Dew – U.S. and Canada – and has led some of the most successful and first-to-market consumer-engagement campaigns – DEWmocracy, DEWmand and DEWcision – that have shaped the products the brand brings to shelves. He was also responsible for the re-launch of Mountain Dew in Canada, more than doubling sales and quadrupling market share.
Ryan now focuses his creativity and business acumen on engaging the DEW Nation through product innovation, social influence, brand partnerships (from NBA and NASCAR to drone racing leagues) and its deep-set influence in skate and snow culture through the Dew Tour.
Also within the walls of PepsiCo, Ryan led the development of the successful “Say it with Pepsi” / “PepsiMoji” campaign in Canada that not only led to positive brand growth in sales and share, but also became a global campaign for Pepsi in 2016 that was executed in over 100 countries around the world. Prior to PepsiCo, Ryan worked at SC Johnson in various brand marketing roles, including managing the Home Care portfolio (Windex, Scrubbing Bubbles, Shout, and Pledge).
Ryan is a Toronto native and Wilfrid Laurier University (Waterloo, Canada) BBA graduate who lives in Connecticut with his wife Sue and Mastiff Ellie. When not busy coming up with ideas and pushing possibilities to realities, Ryan unwinds on the golf course, is an avid runner and loves to explore new travel destinations.
