Phil Epps is Vice President, Global Brand Director, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. In this role Phil is responsible for all elements of the global brand business strategy and resulting global marketing mix components. Working with the commercial and marketing teams from all around the world he is responsible for the quality and development of all global consumer communications content for all forms of media, having responsibility for the brand’s homeplace activation as well as overseeing the management of all licensing activities across the trademark.
Epps brings extensive brand leadership experience from within the U.S. and internationally, having played an integral role in the growth of the Jack Daniel’s trademark throughout the past decade. He joined Brown-Forman in 2003 as Jack Daniel’s brand manager in the U.K. and has held positions of increasing responsibilities since that time, most recently serving as Group Brand Director, Jack Daniel’s for the North America Region.
Prior to joining Brown-Forman, Epps held several marketing roles with Bacardi Martini and First Drinks Brands. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business studies from Nottingham Trent University.
