Nils Weigelt is global brand director of the iconic M&M’S® brand for Mars Wrigley Confectionery. As the leader of the billion-dollar brand, Nils is focused on rallying his team behind driving innovation, communication and activation for the celebrated treat. Nils is a proven marketing veteran with more than 15 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry and track record of leading bold teams that are inspiring and award-winning.
Previous to his current role, Nils was a driving force in turning around Wrigley Germany’s gum business and successfully delivered three consecutive years of growth in his role as marketing director. His team proudly accepted the German Mars Make a Difference Award in 2016 for the chewing gum car bottle activation, leveraging existing products to create year-on-year growth that now spans the globe.
After graduating from the University of Bielefeld’s business administration program, Nils spent the first decade of his career working his way up the marketing chain at Procter & Gamble championing brands from Pantene Pro-V in Europe to super-premium Skincare SK-II in Asia. He currently resides in Chicago with his family.
