Mika joined Marketo in 2018 as Global President. She focuses on driving growth at scale by delivering a world-class, end-to-end customer experience, overseeing the management of strategy, operations, and execution at Marketo, with accountability for the entire organization. Before joining, Mika was the first Chief Digital Marketing Officer for SAP, driving their digital transformation by leading the strategy and execution of SAP’s demand generation, marketing tools and technology, and field marketing disciplines.
In addition, she was Chief Marketing Officer of SAP SMB, driving efforts to modernize the go-to-market strategy, focused on addressing the needs at scale of small and midsize businesses. Prior to joining SAP, Mika was Head of Marketing and Merchandising for Amazon Books, where she launched the first brick-and-mortar Amazon Books store. She also spent more than six years at Microsoft as a leader launching the Microsoft Stores as well as serving in leadership roles driving channel management, pricing, and product management efforts within the Microsoft Windows group. This experience was preceded by her five-year tenure at Garner, Inc. where she covered the SMB market as Research Vice President.
Mika holds a bachelor of commerce (Honors) degree from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada.
