A lifelong feminist and activist, Joanna is transforming Greenpeace into a mobilization-first organization empowering people to join the environmental movement. Never afraid to break down barriers, she previously served as the first female Chief Executive of ActionAid International and Executive Director of the Association of Women’s Rights in Development, where she was awarded a Sigrid Rausing Trust leadership prize. Joanna has held senior positions with Oxfam Canada and the North-South Institute, and served on 5 non-profit boards.
