Dave Freeman is the Head of Brand Marketing at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. In this role he is responsible for all facets of brand strategy for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Marlies, Toronto Raptors, Raptors905, Toronto FC and TFC 2.
Over the last few years, he has spearheaded campaigns such as “We The North” for the Toronto Raptors and “It’s a Bloody Big Deal” for Toronto FC which both have won multiple marketing awards. He is currently working on plans for Centennial Season of the Toronto Maple Leafs which occurs in the 2016-17 season.
Prior to joining MLSE, Dave spent 11 years in various sales and marketing roles at Bacardi Canada Inc. Dave lives in North Toronto with his wife, 2 kids and Portuguese Water dog.
